Vietnam's largest coconut jelly producer - VINACOCO receives National Quality Award
At the 2024 National Quality Award Ceremony, solemnly held at the Military Theater, Hanoi, Vinacoco (Co Co Vietnam Joint Stock Company), a member of GC Food Group, was honored to receive the National Quality Award. This is a worthy recognition for the company's tireless efforts in developing the coconut jelly production industry, enhancing the value of Vietnamese agricultural products and affirming the position of the national brand in the international market.

The National Quality Award is the only award for product quality in Vietnam, awarded annually by the Prime Minister. In 2024, 133 enterprises were honored to receive this award, of which Vinacoco is one of the prominent names in the food industry.

Established in 2016, Vinacoco has quickly developed to become the largest coconut jelly producer in Vietnam, with a capacity of up to 15,000 tons of coconut jelly per year. The company's products are not only widely consumed domestically but also exported to 22 countries, including major markets such as Japan, Korea and European countries.

At the award ceremony, Ms. Bui Thi Mai Hien, General Director of GC Food Group, was honored to receive the award, affirming the company's commitment to maintaining the highest quality standards. "The National Quality Award is not only a recognition of Vinacoco's efforts, but also a motivation for us to continue to develop sustainably and bring Vietnamese coconut jelly products to the world," Ms. Mai Hien shared.

Vinacoco produces coconut jelly from fresh Ben Tre coconut water, through a closed and strict process, with advanced technology certified by FSSC 22000, ISO 22000, Halal, HACCP. The company's products have been certified with 4-star OCOP, and are typical national-level rural industrial products. The company also works closely with farmers in Ben Tre, the largest coconut growing area in Vietnam, to develop high-quality raw material areas, helping to ensure a stable supply and promote local economic development.

A key factor in Vinacoco's success is its pioneering in digital transformation. The company has deployed No-code and AI technologies in management and production, helping to optimize processes, reduce costs and time, and improve competitiveness. Ms. Mai Hien said: "The application of digital transformation has helped us reduce production costs and optimize the management process, while ensuring rapid efficiency in delivering products to the market."

The National Quality Award is not only a recognition of Vinacoco's efforts in maintaining product quality but also a great motivation for the company to expand its scale and affirm its position in the international market. Vinacoco continues to reach out to the world, especially in the trend of consuming natural, low-sugar, healthy products.

Sustainable development, digital transformation and smart export strategies are important factors helping Vinacoco increase the value of Vietnamese agricultural products in the international market, while opening up great opportunities for the coconut food processing industry in Vietnam.
