2. GC Food’s organic aloe vera raw material regions

With a long-term commitment to sustainable development and a vision of becoming a green enterprise, GC Food, as an organic aloe vera producer, has invested in aloe vera cultivation areas in Ninh Thuan (now part of Khanh Hoa) and across Vietnam’s South Central region. These raw material regions cover more than 200 hectares and meet VietGAP, GlobalGAP, and USDA Organic standards.

Using modern farming practices and organic fertilizers, GC Food’s aloe vera farms are carefully cultivated and managed to achieve outstanding yields of up to 550 tons per hectare per year. Looking ahead, GC Food plans to expand its aloe vera growing area to 500 hectares in the former Ninh Thuan province and the South Central region.

Thanks to advances in In Vitro propagation technology, GC Food, as an organic aloe vera producer, is able to produce 3 million high-quality aloe vera seedlings each year, ensuring a stable supply to meet cultivation and processing demands. In addition, GC Food’s factories are self-sufficient in raw materials, with the capacity to process up to 150 tons of fresh aloe vera per day, enabling the company to respond effectively to strong market demand. This high level of productivity also enhances GC Food’s ability to expand business cooperation opportunities, both domestically and internationally.

3. Aloe vera production process at GC Food

As an organic aloe vera producer, the aloe vera production process at GC Food is fully integrated, closely monitored, and designed to ensure safety at every stage, from raw material handling to final processing.

3.1 Tissue culture

Young aloe vera plants are cultivated at the tissue culture center under strict control to ensure uniform quality and disease-free varieties throughout the propagation process. The center operates year-round and produces up to 3 million seedlings per year, meeting GC Food’s continuous demand for planting materials.

3.2 Nursery

Once qualified, aloe vera seedlings are obtained, and GC Food transfers them to the nursery for further cultivation over a period of approximately 2 - 3 months. After this stage, the aloe vera plants develop strong roots and healthy green leaves, meeting the necessary conditions for continued growth and development.

3.3 Raw material regions

After the nursery stage, aloe vera plants are grown in GC Food’s raw material regions under the close supervision of agricultural experts. GC Food minimizes the use of chemical fertilizers and instead applies organic fertilizers to nourish the aloe vera plants. This approach allows the aloe vera to grow healthily while ensuring no pesticide residues remain.

3.4 Production and processing

After harvesting, aloe vera is transported to GC Food’s factories for production and processing. Here, the aloe vera goes through multiple stages to create finished aloe vera products. GC Food also applies a closed processing system combined with automation, ensuring that the aloe vera is processed under sterile conditions and remains safe for consumers’ health.

GC Food utilizes Pasteurization, Aseptic, and UHT sterilization technologies to maintain a completely sterile environment, eliminating the need for preservatives. As a result, customers can confidently use GC Food’s aloe vera products without concerns about quality or safety.

3.5 Storage and distribution

GC Food’s aloe vera products are stored under appropriate conditions before being transported and distributed to distributors and agents across provinces and cities for market supply.
