Recently, at the Early-Year Business Networking Conference, Ninh Thuan Province honored outstanding enterprises, including VietFarm Food Joint Stock Food Company (VietFarm) and Sun & Wind Joint Stock Company- both members of GC Food Group. In 2024, Ninh Thuan's socio-economic situation continues to recover steadily and achieve robust growth. GRDP growth reached 8.74%, ranking 4th out of 14 provinces in the region and 16th out of 63 provinces and cities nationwide; budget revenue reached nearly VND 4,925 billion (approximately USD 210 million), an increase of 24.2% compared to the same period last year; created 16,000 new jobs. Ninh Thuan currently has 4,665 active enterprises with a total operating capital of VND 96,277.7 billion.
These achievements have laid the foundation for Ninh Thuan to establish itself as a leading destination in marine economy, renewable energy, and high-tech agriculture. Among them, VietFarm together with Sun & Wind are pioneering enterprises contributing to the realization of these goals.
VietFarm Food Joint Stock Company, operating the largest aloe vera processing plant in Vietnam, has created jobs for nearly 400 local workers and exports aloe vera products to 22 countries worldwide. The development of VietFarm not only brings economic benefits but also contributes to transforming the landscape of this sun-drenched and windy region.
Sun & Wind Joint Stock Company pioneers in applying modern technology to enhance the value of its core products such as melon, apple, and grape, especially the premium DR Apple line, a deeply processed product made from Ninh Thuan green apples. This innovation enables the effective harnessing of sustainable agricultural potential and renewable energy, contributing to economic development and improving the quality of life in local communities.
